In Friday's league contest, the visiting St. Bede Bruins basketball team scored a good 75-59 triumph over the Putnam County Panthers.
The Bruins (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Tri-County contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Midland topped Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 58-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Putnam County will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record.
