Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgewood holds off Sandy Valley

In Friday's league contest, the host Ridgewood Generals basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Sandy Valley Cardinals.
The Generals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH). The Braves go into the Inter-Valley contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Indian Valley nipped New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH), 52-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Sandy Valley will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Golden Bears go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 66-30 league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH).
