North Carolina High School Basketball - Rockingham County routs Southern Guilford

January 24, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27406

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Rockingham County Cougars basketball team scored a big 80-55 win over the Southern Guilford Storm.

The Cougars (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers come into the 3A Mid-State contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Dudley smashed High Point Central (High Point, NC), 68-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Southern Guilford will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 81-41 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC).
