The Shrewsbury Colonials basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers to 42 in the Colonials league triumph on Friday.

The Colonials now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Algonquin Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A game on Tuesday, January 28. Shrewsbury will confront a Titans team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, MA). The Titans record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Wachusett Regional falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Abington (Abington, MA) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Green Wave go into the game with a record of 9-2. Abington lost 83-81 in their recent non-league game against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA)
