In Friday's league contest, the host Three Rivers Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 47-25 triumph over the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats.
The Bulldogs (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 6-18 record. In their last contest, Pettus was trounced by Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX), 56-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Skidmore-Tynan will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 10-16 record after their 88-52 league loss to Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX).
