The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 38 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Tigers team coming off a 65-43 league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Randleman (Randleman, NC) to confront the Tigers in a 1A/2A Piedmont game on Monday, January 27. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 14-1. Randleman won 82-39 in their recent league game against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)
