The William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) basketball were winner over the host Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA), 67-49 in Friday's league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Broadway for a Valley bout on Monday, January 27. William Monroe will play a Gobblers team coming off a 70-35 league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 3-12.
