Vermont High School Basketball - Winooski holds off Twinfield

The Winooski Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Twinfield Trojans to 65 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Mountain for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Winooski will confront a Bucks team coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Bucks record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Twinfield falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT) to confront the Bucks in a Southern Vermont - D game on Friday, January 31. The Bucks go into the game with a record of 3-7.
