Next, the Lions clash with the Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Tyler will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 9-15 record after their 38-35 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).

The Wildcats (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats come into the 5A Region II District 10 test with a 21-9 record. In their last test, Hallsville was routed by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 43-30, in a league test.
