In Friday's non-league contest, the host Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored a big 50-29 triumph over the Moriarty Pintos.
The Sundevils (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
In their next game, the Pintos confront the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Moriarty will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).
