Virginia High School Basketball - Yorktown overwhelms Herndon

The Yorktown Patriots basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Herndon Hornets to 28 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host George C. Marshall for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Herndon falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to confront the Generals in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Generals go into the game with a record of 6-5. Washington-Liberty won 50-27 in their recent non-league game against Langley (McLean, VA)
