The Sexton Big Reds basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Lansing Catholic Cougars to 43 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Big Reds now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Everett for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Lansing Catholic falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 1-0.
