The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) and the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), observed South Elgin's basketball team overwhelm Larkin by a score of 62-30.

The Storm (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Lake Park was routed by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 45-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Royals encounter the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Larkin will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
