Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek thwarts Lowry

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), observed Spring Creek's basketball team knock off Lowry by a score of 61-43.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Churchill County was knocked off by Dayton (Dayton, NV), 41-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Buckaroos encounter the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Lowry will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 49-47 non-league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV).
