The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northland Prep Academy Spartans (Flagstaff, AZ) and the host Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), observed Northland Prep Academy's basketball team knock off Payson by a score of 53-42.

The Spartans (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ). The Bruins come into the challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Longhorns encounter the Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a challenge, on Friday, January 31. Payson will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
