The Afton Eagles basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Colcord Hornets to 26 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Cave Springs for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Afton will confront a Hornets team coming off a 40-31 non-league win over Quapaw (Quapaw, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Colcord falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Hornets host Quapaw (Quapaw, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a Lucky Seven game on Saturday, January 25. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-7. Quapaw lost 40-31 in their recent non-league game against Cave Springs (Bunch, OK)
