Georgia High School Basketball - Alexander tipped by Rome

January 24, 2025: Rome, GA 30161

In Friday's league test, the Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA), by a final score of 57-55.

Next, the Wolves clash with the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Rome will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Jaguar come into the test with a 17-3 record after their 68-26 non-league win over Douglas County (Douglasville, GA).

The Cougars (13-8) will now prepare for their test against East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Raiders come into the AAAAA Region 5 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, East Paulding was nipped by New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 57-42, in a league test.
