Nevada High School Basketball - Legacy overwhelms Amplus Academy

January 24, 2025: North Las Vegas, NV 89084

The Legacy Longhorns basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Amplus Academy Archers to 16 in the Longhorns league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now have a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bonanza for a 4A Sky game on Monday, January 27. Legacy will confront a Bengals team coming off a 56-22 league loss to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Bengals record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Amplus Academy falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Archers travel to Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Royals in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Royals go into the game with a record of 0-9. Cristo Rey St. Viator lost 70-20 in their recent league game against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV)
