In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cougars basketball team scored a good 45-34 triumph over the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Crusaders go into the Virginia Christian contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview Christian topped Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA), 48-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trailblazers battle the Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Appalachian Christian School will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 38-19 non-league win over United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA).
