North Carolina High School Basketball - Clover Garden School routs Ascend Leadership

January 24, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Clover Garden School Grizzlies basketball team scored a big 40-19 triumph over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.

The Grizzlies (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions go into the 1A Central Tar Heel contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Southern Wake Academy was trounced by Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC), 44-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Aviators battle the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Ascend Leadership will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 43-32 league win over Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC).
