In Friday's league contest, the host Seneca Red Hawks basketball team scored a close 48-41 triumph over the Atherton Ravens.

The Red Hawks (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Male (Louisville, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Male was tipped by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 65-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Western Warriors (Louisville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Atherton will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
