The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) and the visiting Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC), observed Greer's basketball team overcome Berea by a margin of 51-41.

The Yellow Jackets (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Fighting Tigers come into the AAAA Region 2 challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge defeated Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC), 40-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Berea will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 48-33 league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC).
