California High School Basketball - Boron trounced by Desert

The Boron Bobcats basketball squad (Boron, CA), was crushed 58-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA)

With the victory, Desert advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Scorpions travel to California City (California City, CA) to meet the Ravens in a High Desert battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Ravens enter the battle with a record of 4-12. California City lost 56-18 in their recent league battle against Rosamond (Rosamond, CA)

The Bobcats now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kern Valley for a High Desert battle on Tuesday, January 28. Boron will meet a Broncs squad coming off a 79-17 league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Broncs record now stands at 14-3.
