The Pike County Bulldogs nipped the visiting Bullock County Hornets basketball squad by a final score of 38-35 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a 4A Area 4 outing, on Saturday, January 25. Pike County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 7-10 record after their 44-16 league loss to Straughn (Andalusia, AL).
The Hornets (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against New Brockton (New Brockton, AL). The Gamecocks enter the 4A Area 4 outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, New Brockton got by Pike County (Brundidge, AL), 42-40, in a league outing.
