The Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) basketball edged the visiting Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), 37-34 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Sinton for a 4A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Rockport-Fulton will play a Pirates team coming off a 55-25 league win over Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 21-9.
With the loss, Calhoun falls to 5-20 on the campaign. The Sandcrabs host Jones (Beeville, TX) to play the Trojans in a 4A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-9.
