In Friday's league test, the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) basketball squad trounced the host Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL), by a score of 53-30.
Next, the Generals clash with the Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 27. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record.
The Cougars (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Winterboro (Alpine, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 21-1 record. In their last test, Winterboro bounced Talladega (Talladega, AL), 57-22, in a non-league test.
