Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), 49-13 in a league match.

With the victory, Chapin advances its record to 17-12 on the year. The Huskies travel to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX) to face the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 1 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 12-14. Canutillo lost 60-31 in their recent league match against Burges (El Paso, TX)

The Silver Foxes now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Paso for a 5A Region I District 1 match on Tuesday, January 28. Jefferson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 46-34 league loss to Andress (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-22.
