Michigan High School Basketball - Charlotte holds off Lakewood

The Charlotte Orioles basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Lakewood Vikings to 38 in the Orioles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Orioles now have a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Springport for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Charlotte will confront a Spartans team coming off a 56-44 league win over Reading (Reading, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Lakewood falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Eastern (Lansing, MI) to confront the Quakers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Quakers go into the game with a record of 1-8.
