The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) and the host Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA), observed Chestatee's basketball team knock off Greater Atlanta Christian by a score of 50-37.

The War Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights come into the AAA Region 6 challenge with a 0-15 record. In their last challenge, Johnson was knocked off by White County (Cleveland, GA), 93-8, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Greater Atlanta Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 63-25 non-league loss to Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL).
