The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cheylin Cougars (Bird City, KS) and the visiting Triplains/Brewster Titans (Brewster, KS), observed Cheylin's basketball team overwhelm Triplains/Brewster by a score of 86-14.

The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Weskan (Weskan, KS). The Coyotes come into the Western Kansas Liberty challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Weskan was routed by Golden Plains (Rexford, KS), 55-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans encounter the Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Triplains/Brewster will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Quinter (Quinter, KS).
