The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars (Cicero, NY) and the host Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), observed Cicero-North Syracuse's basketball team overwhelm Fayetteville-Manlius by a score of 72-28.
The Northstars (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Genesee (Camillus, NY). The Wildcats come into the Section 3 Salt City - Metro challenge with a 3-6 record.
In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Fayetteville-Manlius will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
