Next, the Tigers clash with the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Commerce will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 26-4 record after their 61-32 league loss to Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX).

The Buffaloes (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Mount Vernon beat Chisum (Paris, TX), 55-36, in a league test.
