Next, the Eagles clash with the Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Woden will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 16-10 record after their 46-45 league win over Hemphill (Hemphill, TX).

The Bulldogs (2-23) will now prepare for their test against West Sabine (Pineland, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region III District 24 test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, West Sabine was overwhelmed by San Augustine (San Augustine, TX), 39-32, in a league test.
