The Corvallis Spartans basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders to 29 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Albany for a 5A Mid-Willamette game on Tuesday, January 28. Corvallis will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 42-33 league win over Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Redhawks record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Crescent Valley falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to confront the Warriors in a 5A Mid-Willamette game on Tuesday, January 28. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 8-5. Lebanon won 46-28 in their recent league game against Central (Independence, OR)
