The Divide County Maroons (Crosby, ND) basketball edged the visiting Ray Ray Jays (Ray, ND), 57-53 in Friday's league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Shore for a B District 5 bout on Saturday, January 25. Divide County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 41-29 league win over Trinity Christian (Williston, ND). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Ray falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Ray jays host Tioga (Tioga, ND) to play the Pirates in a B District 5 bout on Friday, January 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 13-0.
