The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) and the host Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR), observed Glide's basketball team overwhelm Douglas by a score of 48-13.

The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils come into the 3A Far West challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Coquille trounced Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 47-14, in a league bout.

With the loss, Douglas falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Trojans host Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Far West bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Sutherlin won 50-13 in their recent league bout against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR)
