In Friday's league contest, the host East Ridge Raptors basketball team scored a close 51-44 triumph over the Roseville Raiders.

The Raptors (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears go into the AAAA Section 4 contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, White Bear Lake nipped Irondale (New Brighton, MN), 63-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Roseville will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 71-59 non-league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).
