Virginia High School Basketball - James Monroe triumphant over Eastern View

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) and the visiting Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA), observed James Monroe's basketball team overwhelm Eastern View by a score of 79-43.

The Yellow Jackets (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Battlefield challenge with a 4-10 record.

In their next game, the Cyclones encounter the Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Battlefield challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Eastern View will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 52-16 league win over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA).
