Virginia High School Basketball - Episcopal thwarts St. Stephen's & St. Agnes

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA), observed Episcopal's basketball team knock off St. Stephen's & St. Agnes by a score of 63-43.
The Maroon (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Gators come into the Independent School challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart prevailed over National Cathedral (Washington, DC), 49-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints encounter the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 50-40 non-league win over St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA).
