Texas High School Basketball - Fabens trounced by Mountain View

The Fabens Wildcats basketball squad (Fabens, TX), was crushed 57-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX)

With the victory, Mountain View advances its record to 17-8 on the year. The Lobos host San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 10-14. San Elizario lost 47-46 in their recent league battle against Clint (Clint, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ysleta for a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Fabens will meet a Indians squad coming off a 62-19 league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Indians record now stands at 5-19.
