North Carolina High School Basketball - NCSSM: Durham succumbs to Falls Lake

The Falls Lake Firebirds defeated the host NCSSM: Durham Unicorns basketball squad by a final score of 48-40 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Firebirds clash with the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) in a 1A/2A Super Six outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Falls Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Patriots come into the outing with a 8-8 record after their 41-36 league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC).

The Unicorns (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors come into the 1A/2A Super Six outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Research Triangle went down by Discovery Charter School (Bahama, NC), 70-20, in a non-league outing.
