Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Marshall can't hold off Randle

Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos (Missouri City, TX), 45-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Randle advances its record to 16-12 on the year. The Lions travel to Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-23. Lamar Consolidated lost 38-34 in their recent league match against Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX)

The Buffalos now own a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victoria East for a 5A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, January 28.
