The Grant Generals basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Franklin Quakers to 34 in the Generals league triumph on Friday.

The Generals now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a 6A Portland game on Tuesday, January 28. Grant will confront a Democrats team coming off a 87-21 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Democrats record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Quakers host Roosevelt (Portland, OR) to confront the Roughriders in a 6A Portland game on Saturday, January 25. The Roughriders go into the game with a record of 5-9. Roosevelt lost 51-27 in their recent non-league game against Thurston (Springfield, OR)
