The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) and the visiting Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), observed Greensville County's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a score of 51-9.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA). The Dragons come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 3-6 record.

In their next game, the Broncos encounter the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Monday, January 27. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
