The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) and the host Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA), observed Gabrielino's basketball team knock off Marshall by a score of 26-18.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against South El Monte (South El Monte, CA). The Eagles come into the Mission Valley challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, South El Monte was knocked off by Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA), 65-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Monday, January 27. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
