Colorado High School Basketball - Severance knocks off Greeley Central

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) and the host Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO), observed Severance's basketball team overcome Greeley Central by a margin of 58-50.

The Silver Knights (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Mountain Lions come into the 5A/4A Longs Peak challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View dropped by Silver Creek (Longmont, CO), 67-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Greeley Central will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 66-12 league loss to Broomfield (Broomfield, CO).
