The Bearcats (14-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region I District 7 challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, Vernon was tipped by Holliday (Holliday, TX), 59-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bowie Jackrabbits (Bowie, TX) in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Holliday will attempt to better on its 10-15 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a 16-12 record after their 44-39 league loss to City View (Wichita Falls, TX).
