Illinois High School Basketball - Highland Park fells Maine East

The Highland Park Giants basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Maine East Blue Demons to 37 in the Giants league triumph on Friday.

The Giants now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Leyden for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Highland Park will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-48 league win over Addison Trail (Addison, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 18-7.

With the loss, Maine East falls to 11-14 on the campaign. The Blue demons host North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 6-6.
