Washington High School Basketball - Montesano overwhelms Hoquiam

The Montesano Bulldogs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Hoquiam Grizzlies to 40 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Montesano will confront a Vikings team coming off a 64-24 league win over Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Hoquiam falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Tenino (Tenino, WA) to confront the Beavers in a 1A Evergreen game on Wednesday, January 29. The Beavers go into the game with a record of 4-13.
