The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) and the host Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC), observed Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's basketball team overwhelm Horse Creek Academy by a score of 62-9.

The Trojans (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North (North, SC). The Eagles come into the A Region 3 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, North was routed by Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC), 48-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Stallions encounter the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Horse Creek Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 59-31 league loss to North (North, SC).
